a Merc Derivative, which was a Diku derivative, which is as old as I can remmember, anyway, I used alot of old code, so, Many thanks to the people who worked on those projects, their names are on the opening screen when you log in, Also there was alot of insperation from Circle Mud, but no actual code used, the same for the Terris Mud, which is one of the coolest muds on (or Off,) Earth, until they started charging money for it. Anyway, You have the 4 basic Classes so far, plus a Jedi Class I coded, and Also you can play as pretty much any race you want, eventualy, right now I've only coded (Other than the default 4) Griffins, Bats and Bears, I'll probably work on Wyverns and Centipedes next, and then maybe some Golems, anyway, I'll have at least 25 races by year end if I get the time. I've got more space here So I'll give a description of all this stuff. Classes: Warrior - Your basic Sword slashing, Armor wearing, shield weilding muslce head. Cleric - Nice Guys who go around healing goodies and bludgening baddies. Thief - A Sneaky Character with fast fingers and a good eye for shadows, makes a good assassin. Mage - Mostly a bunch of hotshots who favore themselves destined to be the next Meriline, but there are some who actualy spend some time out there training. Jedi - Weilds a Light Saber, Uses the Force, etc, etc,etc. _______________________________________ Races: Human - Average in everyway, no special skills intrinsicly, but learns new ones faster then any others. Elf - Makes excelent Thiefs and mages, and good mages cause they get some of the thiefs skills for free, without even taking the class. Dwarf - Good Warrior and Cleric, some time goes Berserk with rage. Giant - Heals Quickly, can carrie alot of stuff, Bashes stuff with blunt objects, Great Warrior |
